In the first of the Transversions series, T.U. took photographs of original rice-paper paintings and, with the help of Monika Lidman, a dear friend and artist who at the time worked at a photocopy shop, created randomly "messed with" versions, which then were printed on rice paper.

The Messed With prints were first shown in 2003 at the "Exsamplings of Play" exhibition at Galerie Asbaek in Copenhagen.

The works below are included in T.U.'s 2024 book "Still in Play".
