In October of 2002, T.U. (on vocals and idiophone) joined the Danish avant-garde group Clinch at the Play The Game Conference in Copenhagen for the first in an ongoing series of performances.
The core of Clinch is Claus Bøje on drums, Peter Friis Nielsen on bass guitar and Christer Irgens-Møller on keyboards and synthesizers. For the intial and recent performances and recording, Steffen Poulsen did live sampling. Performances have also included T.S. Høeg (saxophone), Troels Bech (live sampling) and John Krog Hansen (live sampling). Since the fall of 2003, Lotte Anker (alto and tenor saxophones) has played with Clinch.
