Davis Cup
Wimbledon / All England Championships
- Played in singles, doubles and mixed doubles over four decades, starting in 1948.
- Member of the Last 8 Club (with Ladislav Legenstein reached doubles semifinals in 1959, losing to eventual champions Roy Emerson and Neale Fraser, 3-6, 2-6, 2-6).
- With Cliff Richey played a record (in total number of games) Wimbledon doubles match, 1966, first round, losing to Nikki Pilicand Gene Scott 19-21, 12-10, 6-4, 4-6, 9-7 (98 games). The record was broken in 2007 when Marcelo Melo and Andre Sa d. Paul Hanley and Kevin Ullyett in 102 games: 5-7, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 7-6 (7), 28-26.
French Championships & Open
- Played in singles, doubles and mixed from the 1940s to the 1970s.
- French Indoors title (singles and doubles), Paris (years unknown).
- French Senior singles title, Roland Garros (year unknown).
U.S. Championships & Open
- First played in 1953, played most years until the 1970s.
- Member of the Final 8 Club (with Julie Heldman reached semifinals of mixed doubles in 1969, losing to Margaret Court and Marty Riessen, 3-6. 2-6).
- In 1969, Pancho Gonzales and T.U., both 41, played a five-set third-round match won ;by Gonzales, 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 8-6, 6-2. Some video from that match.
Australian Championships & Open
- Played twice in the 1970s.
Danish Championships
- Singles title, 1948, 1952, 1956, 1965.
- Doubles title, with Kurt Nielsen 1950, 1951, 1953, 1956, 1958. With Carl Edvard Hedelund, 1964. With Jan Leschly, 1968.
- Mixed doubles title, with Agnete Friis, 1952.
