In September of 1986, T.U. took part in a series of events in Woodstock, New York,
to raise funds for the construction of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, a Tibetan Buddhist
monastery there.
In addition to a presentation of tennis films by Gil de Kermadec and an exhibition match
with Jeffrey Borowiak, some of T.U.'s rice-paper paintings were included in an exhibition
called "Art Inspired by the Dharma."
